Only years after I finished all of those. I only saw it for the first time a couple of years ago, but the newest one on that page is probably 10 years old. They're mostly based on a design I made for someone's RPG and subsequent running of said idea, Jet Moto (as in the case of the lower left one), doodlings in class, and stuff I saw in a dream. A lot of them (next batch) have been based on drawing a half circle and adding engines and stuff underneath.^Someone has seen Blade Runner. Haha.

uh oh. this is gonna be my new favorite place to hang out..
firstly-
Good stuff guys!
weener- awesome quilt! I know that one took you a long time, and it shows.
ripplin- nice sketches in general. tiger is cool, but i dig the robot and ship stuff the most.
xmark- yeah that looks like a real album cover, nice job!
pong- really like the very last one. it has some great flow with the vines
Luke- That megaman one is very solid!
And alright, I have literally thousands, but I'll pick at some much lesser known stuff here.
First.. for anyone interested, I'm doing art every single day for 2010 as my new years resolution.

Wow, nice stuff, Foxx! All of you are pretty damn talented dudes and dudettes.
I know I posted this in 11:60, but it probably fits in here more. This is a painting I did as a wedding present for my best friend. It's of his dog, Rocky. I was nervous doing it, because it was a surprise and I haven't painted in ages, but I'm pleased with it and they really like it:

^Yeah, it's especially nice when it's a gift.
Love that half pencil/half colored pencil one, Foxxy! Very cool. Kinda reminds me of the half real painting in a magazine cut in strips/half colored pencil thing I did in grade 7 or 8:

I wouldn't mind having a go at something like that again, especially with some good pencil crayons.
We only had Laurentian, which are as hard as a rock. I like my Crayolas, which are softer and great for blending.

I'm not nearly as artistically inclined as I wish I was, but I did do a painting pretty recently (my first). It's of Jack from LOST with his sick beard, in front of the island. There's also a couple of other things in there like the hatch light. It's a horrible quality, dark image of a bad painting, but I gave to a buddy for his birthday and he loved it.
Guess I'll share:

^I like that organic style. I'm guessing part of it is just drawing some lines and seeing what happens, right?

You artists make me envious.
I'm more artistic than most people, but my abilities extend basically to the last art lessons I had in like grade 6. Some issues with form and perspective I never "learned" out of, and just technique overall.
I keep wanting to break a bit into animation too, but lack of drawing ability is a big hump for that.
Keep up the posts in here! Some really great stuff, it's always great to see what Shizzies can create.

Thanks! Yeah, I like to go abstract and just draw things without thinking about it. They usually turn out to be some sort of

Moldi- Nice dog! I like the shading on it! It ends up looking very comic booky, and somewhat real too.
Rippin- that magazine cut paper thing is awesome! There is so much detail in that. wow. Extra impressive for 7th/8th grade. Really, really great.
Pie- your stuff scares me
The top fish has some pretty sweet use of colors though
Xan- Thats a cool birthday Present
Carbon- It's hard to tell what some of those are, haha. But! I like the "epoch" one. wish that was bigger because it looks like a cool design.
And thanks for the comments on my stuff, guys
That black and white/color thing I did was one of the only "concept" pieces I made, as we were forced to have a reason behind one of the images. I went with a very simple: "Life looks better in color" concept. Another fun fact, I didn't look at any reference for this. I wanted to see how well I could do with pure imagination.
Next!

College art project: colored pencils. combining 3 different photos (background, cat, indy)
