here is the link to the blog which i assume used to be a repository for these guides. Things seem broken and unattended as of now. I only posted the semi-decent/right size selections.

Alright...here is the deal. I love sorid tales of rock star debauchery. Love it. I also love reading about drugs for some strange reason. Call it voyeuristic but reading rock star biographies is one of my favorite past times. I do not care if I even like the band. This is how I waded through Head's (Korn) poorly written biography. Right now I am in the middle of the Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx. This is why I am devoting this post to glam metal and also a vein of heavy metal/hard rock I have not yet traveled.
I too love me some rock star hedonism. I'll see your post and raise you.
Alice loved him some hooch. Here's a love song about booze.
White Snake. Should've called themselves Jazz Hose.
The late 80's brought us Ozzy at his most decadent. Drug Swollen? Check. Sparkly outfit? Check. Self-endulgent song intro? Check.

hahaha...hey you take it up with 4chan...I am down with the hipster black metal chart because it is a group of black metal bands who push for experimentation, are embraced by the indie community and all came out around the same time period. For people who like WITTR, I think accepting some designation allows people to find similar bands. People who like Deathspell may or may not like Marduk or Horna or Aura Noir but may dig Altar of Plagues or Agalloch. I think the term "hipster black" is somewhat derogatory but unforgivably describes a very specific brand of contemporary black metal.
hahah totally not directed at you, just something I had to write
