I just realized something: we've had a 3DS thread long before the 3DS was even out, but the VITA is out right now and we still don't have a thread for it.

That's because the PSP thread doubles as the Vita thread.

Because it's loved by Sony just as much as the PSP, right?

Plus , personally I think it probably works better if we just use the same thread for both. Rename it the "Sony Portable Thread"

Probably the next 3DS game I play will be Kingdom Hearts. And that's not for a few months.

It will be released on July 31. That's less than a month and a half away!

I need a new 3DS game to play. The more I play Kid Icarus Uprising, the more I don't really like it.

Mostly due to the controls, it could have been so much better with normal DS controls. I thought I'd get use to it, but more and more it just feels so damn awkward.

Seriously, with Nintendo's strategy with the Wii, 3DS and the Wii U, it makes me think this company has no fucking idea what its doing anymore.

Thing is, the 3DS XL will be the perfect bridge to the 3DS Pro: people will be disappointed in the 3DS XL, and then Nintendo announces the 3DS Pro with a right Circle Pad. People will then claim that Nintendo finally gets it, and it PRINTS MONEY.

That, and they'll make a few bucks off of the XL series, including the accessories made for it.

I really don't know why having two sticks really matters. Using the stylus on the screen for games like Kid Icarus more than make up for IMO. And few games need it for camera control. (The Vita has 2 of em and they are placed in a retarded way so every time you go to hit the tiny ass X button you hit the stick instead) Sure it could help, but not a deal breaker for me.


3DSXL will be good for those who have larger hands probably.

I hated Kid Icarus because of the control scheme and would have loved it with a second stick. But that's just me
