Here's a fairly improved version of my cover of Demonstray's Militiae Corneriae(Recover month). It got new drums, re-recorded bass, and I spent more time mixing it:



This is the slightly different version of the Sword Master track that Careless and I did this past month for Magfest X. The main difference being that this version doesn't have the artificial slowdown during the Castlevania 2 section that Careless decided would be a good idea for the DoD version for some reason.

Gradius III - Stuck In The Crystal Maze
My first DoD track. Remember it? No? I'm not surprised. Hy Bound from OCR helped me mix and master this track properly last year. I really love this track, and consider it one of my best even though it's very conservative.

FFVIII - All Existence Denied: The Extreme
This track also sounds alot better now. I'm going to completely rework it later, and hope to techno it up enough to get it posted on OCR

The Tracks left for Future Volumes, please suggest a tracklist, or if you'd prefer X Song towards X part of vol. 2 or reserved for vol. 3, just let me know.

Also, I am thinking of album art for Vol. 2
If no one feels inspired by late February, I'll take care of it.
I hope to have Vol. 2 finished by the end of March.

EDIT: (As if I'm doing the work itself! I get to line up the dominoes, not very good at carving them yet, so to speak.)

Every time so far i've re-done this i've figured out better production techniques but each time I back and feel unsatisfied with the production gap between this and my other two songs for Maverick Rising. Now I finally feel i've made a version that I can't improve upon. Where everthing fits, and it's loud, it's transparent and it's heavy!
