Anyone who said: "oh this is a lot of tracks, I'll listen to this later" or who got to Die Welt and said "OW MY BRAIN!" and skipped the rest... is really missing out.

I'm especially loving all the stuff on Solo Keyboard Works Volume II. I'm a sucker for that sort of stuff (reminds me of virt's attempt to sound like Beethoven ). I haven't had the time to do more than skim Dream Farm, but it sounds epic. The vocals on the last track are indeed stomach-able. The first verse felt a little forced, but it started flowing after that. Nothing makes me cringe harder than poorly done amateur vocals and I didn't cringe once. Actually, I listened to it 3 times in a row...

Did you play all this live or is any of it sequenced? Some of it sounds so tight that it makes me think sequenced for sure, but then again my rhythm sucks except when I'm playing my guitar so I would think that.

Lunar Sea
It's a play on words see? String Quintet with harp, followed by a little sea chantey and nice melodic duo with flute and celesta.

Nice song .. interesting take on Camel's original. It's barely recognizable! :)

Thanks, buddy! I appreciate you actually giving them a listen and having some real feedback. While I do appreciate people giving me positive replies, they feel forced sometimes. I believe the nomenclature you're looking for when you say "sound like Beethoven" would be Neo-classical which is a pretty apt description of what I mainly do now. The only thing in my music that isn't sequenced are the guitars and vocals, everything else I do through midi.

I'm working a lot on Volume III of my keyboard works and if you liked Vol. II, you'll really like this new stuff. My technical prowess seems to improve with each step and some of these new pieces sound pretty interesting. Should be done in a couple months, but one never knows with these sorts of things.

So I can't help but notice that these volumes have more songs that aren't linked here? Or those for sale or something, or are they languishing on your hard drive unavailable to the masses who desperately wish to here them? :)

Looking forward to listening to lotkq tomorrow after all the props it just got. I haven't heard a second of that one yet.

Guess it should've been "from the mind that brought you Spunkman!"

They're all languishing on my hdd. I've made CDs of them but it's just so I could review how they sound together. I have ideas for a little box set of my solo keyboard works, with disc designs and all which I'd like to attempt after I finish volume three. After that I don't think I'll do any more solo key stuff as I have a bunch of other projects that need attention.
