I named him Naam, after the psych metal act.
I know that he'll just end up being an uber-dude in all classes with mega dragon armor by the end of the game, but I'm just having some fun with him now.
I like how he looks like Lobo.

I'm seriously contemplating going out and buying a gandalf pipe to go with this game.Back in Winterrun I smoked some skooma, drank some mead and ale, and played a game of tag with some kids while trying to jump on their heads.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but if you ever see ingredients on a table, it's pretty likely that they'll make a potion when combined. Other alchemists left you hints! Apothocary satchels usually work the same way, I've stumbled upon a few good recipies from them.a fucking sabrecat came to my aid last night against some bandits gaurding their camp
random or CAT/CAT UNITY 4-EVAH????
only thing im having problems with: alchemy. anyone have any tips? im an elder scrolls newcomer, but rpg lifer. figured that part would be more intuitive.
Another way is just to guess and check with different ingredients until you make a potion.

It took me for freakin ever to get to the greybeards. there was a snow saber cat on the mountain trail that could kill me in two hits. Finally ended up abusing Lydia, by running past her so she attacked it, and unload all my flames on him. When she went down and he turned on me i would take one hit, go to the menu, heal, hit him again, take another hit, go to the menu and heal, and so forth. Really tedious and unengaging. But i spent about 30 minutes worth of attempts trying to get past him, and I was level 11. That made me dislike the game quite a bit for a little while. I never remember ES being this frustrating. With the combat being as unrewarding as it is in this game, i'd rather take that frustration back to dark souls.

Insane! I've been popping off sabrecats for a while now with no problems, since very low levels too. (I'm CURRENTLY a level 11 too)
What's your character build?

Yea, I also have a rouge character that is pretty handy with a bow and have had no problem with those oversized kitty cats. Now the snow bears...

You take that mad talk out of this thread!!
I ran into a similarly frustrating fight with 3 giant spiders, they were just beating the crap out of me, I think I wrote about it above. Anyway, when dealing with the giant I slew I used the environment to slow him down or give me a better vantage point..that helped but the giant would often retreat when it couldn't find a path to me. So, I used potions to coat my weapon with poison or to drain stamina and attacked with those, dodging his club was tricky and I wasn't very successful but he had a pretty lame foot stomp that I tried to make him trigger over and over.
I dunno what else you can do to deal with difficult enemies except to come back later with better equipment

Nord warrior/magic hybrid. So far i'm level 11. Have my one hand up to 40, destruction at 28. With all available perk levels for those two talent trees. I use sneak and shoot quite a bit too but this thing was hiding in a bush so every time i got in a position to see him, he would agro.
