Woo, pretty excited for this. Just finished up Feast for Crows yesterday. I recommend reading the books (at least have read game of thrones) before the tv series if you can wait. If not, I'm sure you'll enjoy it anyway!

I read game of thrones back in 2002 or 3, when Morrowind was relatively new and I was hooked. Read through the third book but had to wait so long for the 4th one that I don't remember shit. I'm going through the Order of the Hand wiki to catch up on a chapter-by-chapter basis and I can't WAIT for this show! I wanna try to accrue many eps before sitting down to watch em all but I lack discipline

agreed, its going to be awesome
does anyone know the pacing for this series....are they going to do the first book in the first season or a book for every two seasons?
becasue there is alot they have to cover
i was most impressed with the title credits with the animated map
so awesome
