So far, Tony's reason is the only valid one for missing Kwakfest. I'm sorry for your loss, man. I miss you, and want to catch up soon (if nothing else, we'll at least hang at Mag).
For anyone who wants to start thinking about what you'll do a day early, tune in tonight to Kris' Noise Channel show at areciboradio.com, during which I will reveal the theme.
I'm only doing this to give you inspiration and let you concentrate on your sequencing skills during the hour, since we're probably all a bit rusty. I trust that you will not cheat and begin writing your song early. We've always been on the honor system; I can't prevent you from cheating, but there's nothing to gain by doing so. Since we don't vote, the only prize is a feeling of accomplishment at having been spontaneously and rapidly creative -- the best part, in my opinion, is the pounding heartbeat as your song is queued up (it's a serious rush). So you owe it to yourself to hold off, and do it live.

So now since I have a midi guitar controller thingy I guess I should actually figure out how to use a sequencer that can export midi (not sure if you can in Reaper???)
