Maybe (probably) I'm an idiot, but I can't figure out how to join the Harden the Fuck Up February challenge. I'm a member of the shizz group, but I don't see my name listed with everyone else under the CHALLENGE tab. I can't find any "join this challenge" button or anything like that. Help?

actually, djinn would be winning. he isn't in it either.

He hasn't actually logged any time in February yet. Once he does we'll find out if we're all fucked or not.

Also, I think I'm actually going to have to be active over the weekends if I want to stand a chance. Fuuuuuuuuuuck.

I logged a half-assed workout from yesterday this morning, but tonight is leg day and I'm out for blood, so expect some serious pointz.

I'm kinda missing points from biking to work earlier in the week because I didn't think to click "Advanced" and log the topography, but I'm fairly certain I'm going to be well beaten in this challenge :P

Running is the ultimate hax for points.

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.

Hey Crimson, how are you creating these challenges?

I created a group for some friends from home, but I can't seem to find the option to create challenges or a help section with the solution.

You have to go to the group settings page, click on the button with the gear icon. There's a place for challenges under that.

I've been doing P90X, so I'm not really sure what the heck I should be entering in for my workouts. I'm probably way behind all you guys.

seriously, that was a really good read. Its always one of my personal fears that working out will make me end up looking very bulky and masculine, which is obviously not something I want. Nice to know that I am currently going down the right path.

However, I am happy that he took out that yoga part. If you work out and then do yoga on top of that, watch out!!

God is a comedian with an audience too afraid to laugh

i don't care either way. male or female, you're a professional so grip these nuts and tell me they're okay. thanks.

There's some topic in the forum where it breaks it down by video... just preload all the exercises and add in your reps/weight as you go. If you feel lazy you can just log it as cardio.

Fitness related, I'll be home soon and thinking about weights. There's a 24 hour gym nearby that I could join for about $15 a month... but they don't have barbells outside of the smith machine, I guess for safety concerns. I was debating joining there vs. putting down $500 or so on a bench, bar and plates.

Either way it'll be nice to get back into lifting as opposed to nonstop running.

Oh boy I placed this time! Congrats to Djinn and Crims for getting first and second.

Also, I'm considerably more in shape right now than I was at the beginning of February so HTFUF successful. Accomplishments include being able to comfortably run 3.5 miles in 30 minutes, being able to endure an hour of taekwondo class without dying/being sore for a week, and in general upping the number of pushups/situps/squats/pullups I can do.

My goal for March is to get the chievo for a set of 15 pullups... which is apparently harder than it sounds.
