Props on Monster Party and Silent Hill 4. The SH4 attract mode video is what sucked me into the series

On a side note, the original Japanese Monster Party exists! But all I could find was a grainy video of the intro, let alone a ROM

just found out the guy playing musashi in this intro is a real life karate master and actor, named sonny chiba. sweet.


at least when i was a kid, this was awesome and somewhat fightening.

I could watch this one every time.


The simplicity of it and the movie effect really make it a staunch badass of an intro. It's telling you straight up that you're in for cinematic-level adventure that you couldn't possibly prepare yourself for.
