If any new shizzie bands are looking to play M11, now's your chance to be considered by the MAGFest music department. You can read the details on the most recent news post, but the gist is that you should e-mail music@magfest.org if you or your group would like to perform on the main stage or second stage. Please note that you should only let them know about YOUR band, not another band that you would like to see play

I just passed this info on to Simon, hopefully he and Jiggs can make some Dark Warriors happen since the album will be finished by then.

Colin, Matsu, and I went to a Fat party where everyone was pretty fat and I went to get a beer and this fat girl sat between Colin and Matsu on the futon and she sank while they were boosted up.
That party also had Fat Kareshi and we were all excited so when we left I said "bye Fat Kareshi!!" and he was all like "huaghaughahhaha byeeeeeee"

Toadette and I were driving around listening to QOTSA yesterday and it made me think of Sleeveless in Seattle...I'm not even sure how I ended up being in a Rock Band band with you guys over all of the other potential candidates (pure luck? right place at the right time?) but it was a beautiful moment and one of the highest highlights of any Shizzie experience I've had.I reached my performance pinnacle with Sleeveless in Seattle. Application denied.

I'm gonna submit myself under my solo act, "Midnight Twenty-One".
It will consist entirely of me doing half-assed Red Fang and Fucking Champs covers, with sporadic interludes of me saying "um" into the mic repeatedly.

I just contacted Mike from Last Chance To Reason, to check if they're interested.
I should fucking hope they are; I've missed them the last two times they were in Edmonton (but I'd better not miss them over the summer).
