I don't see why some people put music into a category. To me, it doesn't matter what the song is, if it's good, I listen to it.
I went on a 5 mile run yesterday and all these different songs flooded my ears while I ran.
NWA - Toby Keith - Chairlift - Weezer - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - The main title theme from Robocop - Great White
These are just to name a few! Why can't we stop living behind walls and join one another in
MUSIC!

feel free while i continue to enjoy hardcore, grindcore, metalcore and a bunch of other genres you dont care about anywayI hereby banish all genres ending in -core.
i hate this conversation, even though its clearly trolling/ a joke
genres exist because there are different types of music,period. if i need to describe something to you is it feasible to say 'oh, Le Shok? theyre a Good Band' what the hell does that tell anyone? but 'Le Shok? they are heavily influenced by damaged 70sesque synth punk'

With in the last few years the only thing that really helps me kill stress is music.
I used to only listen to a few bands , then I learned to open doors to music and saw ( heard ) that there is so much more out there.
