I'm surprised no one has made a thread for this yet!

I'm seriously stoked for Persona 4 The Golden:

And Ragnarok Odyssey:

And that game Gravity Rush is one heck of a lot of fun:

I've owned a Vita since launch, the good games ARE slowly coming out, the re-mastered? version of Persona 4 is more than a good enough reason to get one ;).

While I really want to play Persona 4 (and some other games), Sony said there will be no price cut on the system this year. So I won't be buying the system this year.

There wasn't one, because we've been using the PSP thread as a Vita/PSP double thread.

I'm going to just have to give up and get one eventually here because there are games I want to play for it despite my disapproval for Sony and how they've handled things and the stupid decisions they've made for the Vita.

Honestly, i'd pay for a bigger Vita model that keeps the same screen size but makes the unit bigger so the buttons aren't ridiculously small.

The only complaints I have is the menu interface and the fact it's touch screen only, they should have stuck with XMB like the PSP and PS3. For me I didn't have an issue with the price, though I'm able to afford things because I still live at home.

Sony have made bad decisions recently but it won't stop me from playing games developed for their platforms.

I read that the next firmware will let you use the buttons for navigation in the menu.

Oh that's great, I'm sick of getting fingermarks all over the screen, also it'll be good when they FINALLY carry over PSOne Classics, but that's 1.8(current FW is 1.67 I believe) so that probably won't be for some time yet.

EDIT:
Late August I just read on the official blog, so that's not far at all. Also I'm interested in this cross controller support for use with the PS3.

There wasn't one, because we've been using the PSP thread as a Vita/PSP double thread.

I always thought it's because The Shizz, in general, wasn't very confident of the Vita just yet. Heck, look at the ellipses in this thread's very own title, and Michael even owns one.

...but Persona 4: Golden sounds very nice. Very, very nice. I've already listened to all of the extra music that's on the game as well, and there's a few gems. I'm willing to bet that Persona 4: Golden's release will determine whether the Vita will survive or not, because if that game garners attention, then the Vita will receive attention, and then developers will take the Vita seriously. If not, it's dead, unless Square-Enix pulls a Final Fantasy on it early September 2012.

These are some of those reasons.

Relatively minor. But issues none the less.

I hope the next firmware update does let you use the buttons. Because I don't want to smudge the fuck out of my screen.

Okay, Ragnarok Odyssey is awesome, it shares similarities with Monster Hunter and Phantasy Star Universe/Portable, it's basically similar to any MMORPG but with smoother gameplay.

Was interested in this, but not enough to buy it. Next week is a big week for Vita.

Persona 4: Golden

Plus awesome free games for PS+ memebers: Wipeout, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Mutant Blob, Jet Set Radio and Final Fantasy Tactics (PSP).

I'm excited for Persona 4 Golden, didn't get far through the original and after discovering of the remake I decided to postpone it and wait for it to come out on the Vita, I love the fact it's region free, the only gripes I have is DLC is.

Played about 6 hours of Persona 4 -- already further than I was when I played the PS2 version. What a great looking game. This and Persona 3 are probably my favorite JRPGs of the last 10 or so years.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that despite my disdain for Sony's Decisions that I need to get a Vita sometime within the next year or so.

The PSP got really awesome once it got cracked open and you could patch out stupid design decisions (slowdown in FFT) or decrease loading times by running games from the Memory Stick. I expect the same will happen with the Vita. I still want one.

Eh, things like that aren't really what has irked me.

I played through all of FFT via ISO with the slowdown. And it didn't bother me at all.
