I was having this awesome fucked-up dream when Steph woke me up this morning . The Minibosses were playing some sort of outdoor festival. We were discussing if I should play with them before the show a bit but I wasn't sure. Then right when they went on Aaron nodded to me to go up there. But there were no extra parts so I didn't know what to do. So I just enjoyed the show. But then after 2 songs they stopped and the dream jumped to this iMax type theather that was showing crazy 3d pannings of Bowser's Castle, like a Mario 64 version. Now comesa the best part - all of a sudden all of us were in this incredible circular Mario 64 theme park of sorts floating around in water. The water had current like a lazy river ride. On one side of it was the Bowser's area and the water was unbearably hot and had all these lava spots. I saw a Toadstool guy in a cage floating on the water/lava and hopping up and down cause his feet were burning. A Koopa drifted by and yelled at thim to stop hopping. Then we were back in the cool part of the water and the Minibosses had to go back to the festival to finish their set. My family was there at the festival. Again, there was confusion about who was going to play. Steph started playing a NES that was hooked up on stage. I was drinking like 3 beers at once.

That's when Steph woke me up. THat was awesome. I wish I could recreate that shit. The theme park was incredible. I love dreams.

Just out of curiosity, what did the Koopa sound like when it yelled?

that is totally hysterical!

i had a very bizarre dream the other night, although much more sinister. there was some woman who was trying to kill me, and so I was running around looking for help. I jumped into this guy's car, and he said he would help me. Instead, he drove the car into the woman's garage, and the garage door came down, trapping us in there. She came running out, and was like "kill her! kill her!". The guy was all, "I changed my mind, I don't want to do it." Then the woman was like, "You don't want to miss out on that incredible award do you?" (Evidently, there was a fellowship to be awarded to the person who killed me, I guess it was a pretty good deal.) So, the guy was totally going to kill me! He was wearing these gold wired framed glasses. I ripped them off his head, and folded them up, and then held them like a knife and stapped him through the top of the head with them. It was AWFUL!! Then there was a whole sequence where I just was running around, and people were trying to lure me out with my dogs, cause they knew I would try to protect the dogs. Verrrry strange and disturbing.
I think Matt was thrilled when I woke him up in a panic, talking about this Fellowship being awarded, and someone trying to kill the dogs.

My dreams are usually all epic and post-apocalypse-ish....lots of quests and big traveling and running around and crazy to-do. blah blah.

At least you didn't take his glasses from him and stab him through the head. He's a lucky man.

I was always amazed at people having reoccuring nightmares until mine came back.. it strikes a couple times a year really. Mine is that I sign up for a math class (always math), take it a couple times and somehow forget that I'm enrolled. So I don't go to any of the classes until just before finals I remember I'm in this class and it is too late to drop it. I go in and the board is covered with equations I can't even begin to decipher and I am in a total panic. Generally I wake up there and sometimes start trying to remember what classes I had signed up for that quarter.

I think it stems from a stats class in college that I didn't do well in, but in any case it is rather horrifying.

Damn, crimson. I have that dream too, or something similar, and I'm 5 years removed from college. It's never a math class for me though, probably because I like math.

i guess that is a common panic dream, although mine is never a specific subject. i will dream that somehow it is several weeks into the semester, and I still don't know where the class is even held. I am hunting around campus buildngs, and realizing that I am not going to find it in time. i think it stems from my "bad semester" at Pitt, when I didn't go to history class once after the first one. heading out to THAT midterm just felt awful. I failed the class of course. Blew my whole average. NIGHTMARE.

I know someone (who could it be?) who spent an entire semester doing that. He went on campus every day but just hung out at the campus center reading and playing classic games in the arcade. I think he somehow managed to pass a couple of classes that way. He's really fucking smart, but it's still a wonder that he pulled it off.

Damn, I didn't think it'd be that common. I'm somewhat relieved now.

Personally I never had the cojones to skip lots of classes in college. I'd miss 1-3 max, unless it was a morning class, in which case I'd oversleep 1-2 more.

I went to all my math classes, but some of the gen-eds were just pointless. The best was social psychology. Aaron and I would show up just before class, hand in the lame-ass homework assignment, and turn around and go to Panda East (best chinese food EVER). Mmm, luncheon special. Every Tues and Thurs at 1pm. My mouth is watering thinking about it.

Today was my first real day at my new job, so therefore I was up all night, nervous and shit. Likewise, I had a crazy dream that I can't remember, except that Steph was in it along with a billion Aliens from Super C (I played through it last night). I woke up from it all scared and shit and literally leaped out of my bed and ran to the kitchen, before realizing I was awake and it was 5:30 in the morning. Ahh, good times.
