I doubt 9 inches would play much into a relationship, if at all.

I have bad guitarra news. Our little home remodeling project has gone around 100% over budget. I mean, you expect to go like 30-40% over, that's just part of it. But 100%? That's just hellish. With another kid due in August I need to scrap together some extra cash to help cover the massive cash outlay that came with this remodel. My most valuable guitar is the Les Paul so it's going to get sold.

There's one on craig's list here for $270 for a black one. It's hard not to want to go check that out, not that I've had any time anyway. Mine is the only one I've ever played so I don't know if there's something special about this one or what. It continues to amaze me how much better I like it basically stock aside from a volume pot and a bridge pickup magnet.
EDIT: Forgot, I am going to take the LP to big jilm for a new bone nut and then I'll probably put it up for $1500.
Livingroomma (this was Saturday morning) I spent ~10.5 hours painting yesterday

I've got an Akai E2 Head Rush, I'm happy with it so far. 23.8 seconds of total recording (half of that if you're going to overdub), simple 2-button operation, plenty of delay effects besides looping, and it's quite rugged. It gets a few negative reviews on sites like Amazon.com because it will automatically play what you've recorded if you max out the 23.8 second record time; now that seems like user error to me, but keep that in mind if you intend on doing lengthy looping. I've never had a problem with it, with standard or overdub looping.Anyone want to recommend a looper pedal/provide testimonials? I've never toyed with one but intend on taking the plunge. Primarily I'd like it for practice, but I wouldn't want to be limited to bedroom practice sessions.

I wish you did too, so I could sell it to someone I know and then maybe buy it back down the road. Sort of my personal pawn broker, if you will.I wish I had the money for the LP.
I found a $10.99 G&B treble pickup from a PRS SE on ebay, and bought it to try in the bridge of the Baritone just for grins, maybe to modify to install a 3rd coil split wire while I'm at it. The HFS pickup that's in there now, even with the switched out Alnico 5 magnet instead of ceramic is just too aggressive. Every time I play that guitar on that pickup, it's metal riff after metal riff coming from me. I still have the original pickups from the guitar including an identical bridge pickup, but those are earmarked for installing in the Sheraton so I can sell that one too.
Hopefully I can generate a good chunk of cash, between selling a Les Paul, a tastefully modified Korean Sheraton with a nice hard case, a set of P-92s and maybe a set of uncovered zebra DGT pickups (though I really want to hang on to those).

I think I'm actually going to put those DiMarzios in the Singlecut. I'll miss the zebra look (these are just plain black), but the PRS has already got coil split pots in it, and I want to return it back to a standard 3-way setup, anyway. I picked up the SG and the PRS both yesterday, and the PRS definitely wins out in terms of how it plays and feels overall. In fact, I'll probably sell the SG, even though it's worth nothing (maybe $250 if I'm lucky). But that $250 would buy me a Peavey T60 I've got my eyes on!

I've actually been looking into a Les Paul. No promises, but I might be interested. Which model is it? 50s/"rounded" or 60s/"slim taper" neck? Weight relieved or full weight?I wish you did too, so I could sell it to someone I know and then maybe buy it back down the road. Sort of my personal pawn broker, if you will.
I wish I had the money for the LP.Oh, well. Prolly tomorrow I'll make it over to Precision for the new nut.
Also, what kind of pickups?
Also also, can't guarantee that, if you did buy it back, it wouldn't be unmodified.

It's a Les Paul Traditional Pro in honeyburst with a 50s neck. It was a Guitar Center exclusive, most LP Trad Pros have 60s necks. This was made in January 2011, so it's pre-raid and has the solid rosewood fretboard, vs. baked maple or laminated rosewood. The Traditional pros are weight relieved, not chambered, so it's like the one on the right in this picture.
Aside from the new nut I'm taking it in for today, it'll be factory stock when I sell it, so zebra open coil 57 classic neck and Bustbucker 3 bridge, both with coil taps on the volume pots.
Finally, here are 16 pictures of it from the original owner. Mine has a one piece back which I think is desirable.

I played some LPs in Guitar Center last night. Then I played my band mate's LP Studio at practice. I love how they play, but I don't know if I could get over how awkward they are to hold sitting down. Despite that, I really want to own one, since I never have.

Mine's a little heavy at 9.5 lbs. Obviously the chambered ones are lighter but some say there's a negative tone impact. Of course, that's 100% subjective. For basically everything you ever wanted to know about solid/weight relieved/chambered Les Pauls, read this post:

I'm still waffling on the color, so feel free to sell it elsewhere. I'd rather it go to someone who loves it rather than someone looking to get an LP on the cheap.Cool, well let me know soon, as soon as I get it back from having that nut made, I'm going to post ads.

Oh and speaking of bridges...decided I'm going to order one of these for the SG, or possibly to use on my Allparts Jazzmaster project:
