Since it's dropped in price so much I'm very seriously considering getting this monster soon. I'm ready to die, and I really want to know what all the fuss is about.

[Got promoted to supervisor.] But, now I can't hide and surf reddit on my phone all day.

are you sure? my experience in retail generally suggested the opposite.

Well then, I need to get you your copy.

I've sorta stopped making them because it was just a pain in the ass to do. Soon the art will all be ready and I'll be getting prototypes made through thegamecrafter with full art and on not-homemade-crap and I'll be sending those out for playtesting instead. I'll keep you posted!

Edit: Oh yeah, if you do playtest with other people, tell them to find VV on Facebook. I'm cooking up some promo stuff exclusively for people who helped me test this stuff, so if they end up grabbing a copy from the KickStarter and they let me know they playtested with you I will include some special shwag for them.

Ha, don't even worry about it, I was going to print everything out and just do a paper run-through. Don't need to be fancy to be fun. I will definitely tell them to check things out on FB (since I don't have one myself). I posted in the Board Games thread that I'm building a gaming table this weekend, so I'll be busy then, but I definitely want to do it in the next 2-3 weeks to get you some feedback.

AUGH, that is awesome. The art is great, and that's the kind of army/character I like to play: one that turns an enemy against themselves, can revive itself, and strikes fear into the heart of its enemies.

Trying to gather some folks together for  a test run through the game in the next few weeks.

RE: Ants,

Vinegar works alright, and cucumber rinds supposedly keep them away as well. If you're not finding a lot of results with any of these, Hot Shot makes a lemongrass oil based repellent/insecticide that is safe for kids/pets. It doesn't smell great (spearmint overload) but there's nothing harmful in it. Rosemary oil works well, too.
