The latter. To quote Wikipedia: "NSFE was also created to add additional functions to NSFs such as timers for songs, fade-out time, arrange songs in a playlist, labels per song, the person who ripped the NSF and several other features". Audio quality may depend on the player you use, though. I believe NotSo FatSo is one of the most accurate around.

Has anyone here played Battle Kid 1 or 2? They are the absolute hardest games since Super Meat Boy and I can't get enough of them. My friend and I finally beat the 2nd boss in BK2 and I think our death count was over 180.
Yes! I actually have both but haven't had a chance to play the second one yet. The first one's third boss just kicks my sorry ass. ![]()
Developer sent me the BK nsf but I haven't covered it yet. I am a horrible person.
The NSFs for both Battle Kid games are available straight from Sivak!
Have there been any leaked roms of these? I mean, it's a cool idea what they are doing, but damn...
I believe there is a rom of the first game, but I haven't seen one for the second one.

Secret of Evermore
Secret of Mana
Seiken Densetsu 3
Tales of Phantasia
Also, while the list Ken Oh has linked to was meant to rate individual tracks, there was also a previous Shizz effort to rate soundtracks as whole.

A Canadian that recorded his guitar and voice in space to David Bowie's Space Oddity, and made a music video with it and shared it with the world the day his 5-month command of the International Space Station ends? If that's not epic, I don't know what is.
