Successfully cleared the game without dying/saving last night. Now I'm refining some slow parts and will start a run in 30 to 60 minutes.

The giant boar? He's weak to lightning but I always cheese that fight and lure him to the edge of his movement range and poke him a lot


first play through I killed him with fire bombs from the roof tops.

does anyone bother to use those luring items they give you almost specifically to kill the boar? you use those to lure him near the walk way then do a plunging attack (maybe drop some fire bombs on him first, so he's half dead and the plunge finishes him off).

The Halberd that randomly drops from the Gargoyles on death is awesome, the one you cut from the tail is not so awesome.


that's because it's an axe


but yeah, the gargoyle halberd is more powerful than the regular one and only slightly marred by its different strong attack.
