Fill a glass about halfway with warm water, then put about 2 tablespoons of salt in there, gargle it a few times. It's completely cleared sore throats that I've had in the past. And usually prevents them from getting any worse.

To get rid of a sore throat, eat as much raw garlic as you can. I usually make myself a grilled cheese sandwich and put 3 or 4 chopped up cloves of raw garlic in it.

God damnit, Kunaki.com has been down for days now, for me... Or so I thought, until I tried it with a proxy and it worked. What the hell? Is my ISP blocking the site somehow, for some reason? Fuck if I know anything about this, but this is pretty crippling. I need to have stuff pressed within a couple days, and now Kunaki won't work. I'd just use the proxy all the time, but Kunaki's client software accesses the site as well, and it doens't work when it's down (or blocked, or whatever the fuck's going on). Grr

I guess I'll have to ease up on the e-mail filters - I had a problem with a lot of bots coming from random address which had 5 letters in the name and address with a .com at the end, so I set up a filter that looks like this - *****@*****.com. I have a feeling the asterisks are probably blocking a lot of them, but I can take down that filter for the moment if you still want to sign up. I have to warn you, though - it's pretty dead over there.
