Whoa sweet.
That's about as close as we're getting to new "episodes". With just Mike it may be a little bit weird but I'm sure there's some comedy gold in there.
Fifth Element is next, awesome.

He did the commentary for the DVD of Reefer Madness too. I haven't seen it, but I've heard good things.

He also has commentary on new copies of Night of the Living Dead and Carnival of Souls. It ain't the same with out Tom Servo...kinda depressing. Although, I like the idea of the site!

i think this is a cool idea.. the guy who did the george washington (fucks the shit out of bears etc) flash did new dialogue for the first potter movie and released the mp3s for people to download and play along with the dvd on mute... there was some pretty funny stuff but since he did the voices for the characters too, it got kind of boring :/

Maybe this start a revolution of people's own riff tracks?

Rowsdower, are you coming to Magfest? Because we totally need to hang out and talk MST3K.

The real beauty of the Rifftrax commentaries is that he can probably get together with his old MST buddies and riff any movie they wanted, because they're not infringing on the rights of the movie holder by doing a commentary and having the customer rent/buy the DVD on their own. It would be the revival of MST3K without having to worry about movie rights.

Brilliant move by whomever came up with it.

Somebody should bring some of these tracks along with a few DVDs to MAGFest and we can make a huge spectacle out of it. Just have the movie playing on the main sound system and bring in an auxillary one with the commentary.

That would be BAD to the ASSED power.
