I am askng you, the smart and computer savvy consumers, for some advice on printers.

I have a PowerBook G4. I'm interested in spending no more than $100 on a printer that would be used for lots of black-and-white printing (i.e. teleplays and movie scripts) and some color photo printing.

I know there's a lot to consider. Canon vs. HP, laser vs. inkjet, and the fact that even the cheapest printer might stick you with shelling out more money on continually replacing cartridges.

I have a scanner, but I'm considering getting rid of it and getting an all-in-one copier/scanner/printer (i.e. the HP Deskjet F335 All-in-One Printer, Copier & Scanner), but the reviews online are so mixed.

I know where to buy printers and where to get deals, I'm just looking for recommendations on specific models. Thanks in advance for your help.

HP is always a good choice for printers, it is their specialty. as for a model under $100, that i don't know. i have an office jet all in one but it was well over $100.
