Found this link that I think kind of paints the picture (plus, there is a picture). I think it might be fun to people watch, but in a "woah, how did I end up here?" kind of way.

This is for the San Carlos, but it mentions how they just moved the thing from the Clarendon. I guess the Clarendon must be up to fire code now to have it back on.

Jen Deveroux recently told me that they are still going to do parties at the hotel san carlos but can only accomodate 40 people due to the fire code. She said she's booking Adult Swim parties at the Clarendon and at the Wyndham downtown (which she said can hold about 2,000 people).

I am booking PoolBoy's issue 1 release pool party at the Wyndham in August i think.

last 4th of july a bunch of us got a room here and well, the bikini check in:

lauren (jumbo junior) was the brave soul that donned the bikini. if you check in to the hotel
with a bikini on you get free drinks, specials on room service etc. totally sexist but well,
we totally took advantage. props to lauren!

I'm all for bikinis and body hair, heaven knows, but you realize you'd have to get a room to get those deals? Which maybe if you could get 6 people into and make it a mini-vacation would be worth the $. What am I, your mom? We only live once. Carry on.

CORRECTION:

ADULTSWIM + STARSWIM are going to be held at the Wyndham this year. I am not doing any parties at Clarendon this year.
