sadly, liz has about zero information on her bike other than 'it was purple and had a really nice cushy seat that i had them put on instead of the stock one' so we shall see how this goes

yeah i'm sure that's the case for many people.

pro-tip: take your bike into your yard and take a bunch of pictures of it. i have a set of pictures from various angles of my bike in my yard. that's like the least you can do if you don't want to record the S/N and register it with the police.

he literally said, "if your bike gets stolen, and you don't know the s/n, you're out of luck."

theft is the #1 crime, and bikes are the #1 stolen item on campus.
