A few years back, Colorstore performed some songs at Treasure Mammal's CD release and I recorded them with a little ipod microphone attachment.
I posted them on theshizz once ages and ages ago, but want to again now, so here you go, they're easy to download if you want:

3 Songs by Colorstore, Live.

And I never saw this before, but it's a video the guys did and has a lot of footage at our place:

Colorstore was a surrogate member of our little San Diego scene in the 00s... trading shows with my band (lowcloudcover) and others, including Goodbye, Blue Monday. I watched them play many times in San Diego and of course at the shows we had here in Phoenix. I wish I had heard more....

I just learned about Mark's passing today.

I didn't really know him, but I loved watching Colorstore perform, especially witnessing Mark get lost in the music.

This is a huge, sad loss.

There is a memorial service on Friday @ 6pm at the First Baptist Church of Scottsdale, 7025 E. Osborn Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
https://www.facebook...77102635759212/

You can also donate to benefit Mark's two kids:

(Via Colorstore's FB page)

Thank you so much to everyone who has expressed their concern over the loss of Mark. Many friends have asked what they can do to help so we have opened a donation account at Bank of America. All donations will be split between Mark's beautiful children, Sophie and Jack. You can donate in three ways:

1. PayPal donations to otherjef@yahoo.com
2. Visit a B of A branch and donate to account #457026553236
3. If you'd prefer to send a check or money order, please contact Jef at otherjef@yahoo.com for a mailing address

*Please note that we prefer no wires, as they do cause a fee for the account. The account number is for direct contact with Bank of America. If you have any trouble, please let us know.

Thanks again everyone for your support -- it has truly helped us all.
