Next month is very special. We're paying tribute to the man who brought us a lot of joy over the years, who loved games and valued fun above all. August is...
Satoru Iwata Month
It's so important, we even have two banners instead of one: left by FoxDragon of Lightning Arts, right by Fedde of Game Art HQ. Larger versions:FoxDragonFedde.
You can cover any game that has Satoru Iwata credited, even as an Executive Producer. System music from Wii, 3DS and WiiU (menu, Mii Channel, etc.) is also acceptable.
Songs are due: August 27th, 1:00 PM EDT

I thought Mega Jazzman and Sparkman would wipe the floor with our song! Thanks to everyone who voted :D

As you may have guessed from the title, mine and Wake's song borrows heavily (read: steals) from Frost's Black Light Machine. :)

I originally wanted to have vocals and a few more sections but this song was done in such a hurry, I had 15 minutes to mix it and submitted it more than an hour after the deadline. Btw, the current version on DoD has new synth solos, so check it out! Huge thanks to Wake for doing the live synths! :)

I was just collecting some DoD stats, and with this last month (if I counted right), there are total of 2015 main entries in the history of DoD. In the year 2015.

Crazy coincidence, right?
