I have some video from karaoke. Limp Bizkit.

I didn't have my board with me now. I'm traveling light, cuz I just shipped everything for moving.

I was surprised how few (maybe like one?) people I saw skating in Tokyo. I suck at tricks, but I kept wishing I had one on me because those windy back roads with prestine, smooth pavement looked so perfect for leasurely cruising. Def wanna bring one next time. Take my urusei yatsura hentai deck to where it belongs.

we gotta take a purikura picture this time!

Make sure you check out Beep in Akihabara this time.

And Hard-Off / Book-Off has a bunch of records.  There's so many stores all over Japan.

Kyoto -

Fushimi Inari is that place with a ton of orange gates.  It's a nice hike.

Arashiyama has a beautiful river, bamboo forest, and a monkey park up a mountain.  These mountain hikes should let you see beautiful autumn leaves.

I wasn't really impressed with Kinkakuji, that little gold building on a pond.  There's better and cheaper gardens to visit in Japan.

Osaka -

FamiBar Dendo.  I'm not sure if it's still open, but it's a nice small bar with a bunch of vg to play.  It only fits like 8 people.  It's a little hard to find, so look at my picture of the entrance on google reviews.

Dotonbori/Shinsaibashi is that classic river area.

Osaka Castle is pretty cool.

Seconded on Kinkakuji....but still..."most mediocre" sight to see in Kyoto still leaves it above many places I've been elsewhere.  I freakin lovvvvvvve Kyoto though.

Erich, is FamiBar the one we went to?  Or did I do that with Olson......I went to some tiny bar where the owners were into Famicom.  I ate grasshoppers.  Seconded on the other Osaka places, anyway.

We ate grasshoppers at a bar but i don't think it was called Famibar! I remember it had the word gorilla or..ape..or bear or something and they had japanese craft beer.

There is a bar called rock and roll in osaka i think..that's what it called. But it's where a ton of western metal and rock bands go to party after shows in Osaka. Lots of pictures of famous people in that bar. i saw the guitar player of some famous 70s/80s metal band i forgot who, someone in the vein of a Judas priest
