Are wet wipes selling out too? I got the bidet at home but I don't poop anywhere else without my wet wipes

I don't care if they don't break down, I'm not sitting at my cubicle with a dirty butt for the environment

I don't think I'm at a particularly high risk but also my employer definitely doesn't give two shits

same boat. i'm having a LOT of anxiety about all of this but its not so much the virus as much as everything surrounding it. as an extremely small practice, any interruption would be pretty rough. whether there was a lockdown, government office shutdown or just patients deciding not to show up for a few weeks would likely be a mountain of awful shit for me to deal with. and thats not counting if either the doctor or myself gets sick. we are specialists so its not like we come into contact with sick people very often but my biggest concern is probably if we have to shut down if a case is found in one of the other clinics in the building.

also, i was at the grocery store yesterday where everything seemed fine until i turned and saw where the bleach and toilet paper were supposed to be. it was kind of jarring and that moment was the first time i appreciated my partners weird habit of buying like 28 roll packages and keeping them in the hall closet. i then bought a bunch of soup and canned vegetables, but i have a tendency to always try to have at least a little extra stuff like that. related note: in my old apartment, one day there was a puddle of ultra-sticky goo of mysterious origin. i looked up, and it was leaking from an overhead cabinet, where i had stored canned pineapple, stew, beans, etc. one of the pineapples had been up there so long i forgot to check dates and it straight up exploded. lemme tell you, expired pineapple juice turns into a sludge paste that is *very* hard to clean

Tomorrow we are doing a test of working from home for 3 days. Gotta lug this fat ass computer i got here. It's kinda odd..donald trump's press conference kind of reminded me the start of a horror movie, where the government is lying and trying to downplay a virus and then you see celebrities succumb to it, and then travel bans start happening.

just picturing some dude putting loaves of bread or cheeseburgers in his toilet and then nutting while it spins and disappears down the hole

During my day job, I basically shake hands with Chinese people all day. Don't care.

This week, though, they sent me to San Luis Obispo where I shake hands with old people all day. Don't care.

I'd be a lot more worried about this if I knew anyone who knew anyone who had this. I haven't even heard a "my wife's co-worker's father-in-law tested positive" story. Until then, and probably even after then, I'm going to chill.

That’s probably fine so long as you’re washing or disinfecting you’re hands. If not for yourself, at least so you don’t inadvertently infect an at risk person.]

nothing changing on my end.  still going to the office.  will likely bring my kid to work for the couple/few weeks that school gets cancelled as soon as they announce it.  there's no way that we're NOT getting cancelled.  some of my coworkers will probably take some time off.  i feel kinda bad because for me it's more an inconvenience than anything else while for others it's critical problem time.

josh i may be joining you in the twitch games.  the piano thing my oldest was supposed to do that day got cancelled.

I work in live event production and everything is cancelled. Luckily we're still able to work, but it's just quietly sitting in our offices wondering when the other shoe is going to drop. The kid is still in school, but I'm sure all my upcoming shows are going to get canned, which is unfortunate as one of them was already a rescheduled event with Stemage. However, safety first.
