I just did a Google search of Vocaloid, and now I get it.

 

I thought it sounded really good, I just didn't understand what I was hearing and as such, how to evaluate it. I thought it was a female voice being "fixed" with auto-tuning. I'd kick the slider further down the right if I could turn back time.

I didn't think my entry was THAT Lo-Fi! I thought the mix was pretty clear! But I'll take it! I basically got super fucking baked out of my mind and made noises that stimulated mind that is super high and stoned and can vibe in and out of jams.

Crap, I forgot to write reviews for that and EVO.  I hope those anonymous DoD contestants read the chat logs!

 

I remember thinking something like "yeah, you gotta use samples when you cover Tecmo, that's a staple".  Great bass, cool overall classic vgm cover feels.

Just listening to Resurrections and gotta say this month was really damn good. I have a big ol' giant DoD playlist I just put on random everyday, and always start with one of the tracks from this month.
