Anybody else into this song? The first time I heard it on the radio it really snuck up on me when I wasn’t really paying attention. So hypnotic and maddening.

I'll always remember that Bolero should be played to the tempo of a steady heartbeat. The orchestra I was in played this a lot.
I don't know if this is true but I've heard that Ravel might've had some form of dimentia while writing Bolero, which lead to it having this style of composition and layers and repeating motifs.
