i fucking loathe first fridays
driving to my job (1st and pierce) is a nightmare.
the parking and/or lack thereof makes me wanna kill myself/everybody

I don't understand this attitude.

Norway was a horrible tragedy and my heart goes out to the entire country for both the immediate and long lasting effects...but what does it have to do with this topic?

Are we only allowed to mourn or discuss one incident at a time?

i think addiction is hardly too often dismissed or excused. it's not even dealt with in a responsible way in our society. only the rich get to go to rehab. poor addicts just go to jail.

start a thread about the tragedy in Norway if you want to talk about it. there's one in the minibosses forum. it's silly to compare the two. or even blame Winehouse for the media's obsession with her death (or her life).

i honestly didn't think this thread would be a discussion on the value of her life. she was just a person that happened to be a good artist and became famous for that and recently passed away. and to top it off everyone is speculating on her death and we dont even know what she died from yet.

i just posted this thread for anyone who liked her music to be aware that she passed away. and i guess when it's a woman doing it, singing and songwriting doesn't make you a musician?

i got into a car accident on 7/8/11 (some 18 yr old kid rear-ended me, i wish that statement could be taken the other way) and i have had a rental car and i've been listening to the radio a lot. i scan a lot and all the clear radio stations, no matter where you are in the valley, are country radio stations.
