For 9 years, the Firehouse Gallery has been a unique arena for the Phoenix home grown underground and a supporter of the arts in Arizona. Recently the Firehouse and its founder Michael23 have spear headed a new and innovative production called First Friday Night Live (FFNL). FFNL is a creative vision that will combine the many aspects of the arts that only the Firehouse, and local Thought Criminals of the Phoenix art scene can do so well.
First Friday Night Live (FFNL) is a live sketch comedy show based out of Phoenix, AZ. The show will be happening every first Friday of the month, in conjunction with Downtown Phoenix's First Friday Artwalk, at 11pm Arizona MST, at the Firehouse Gallery.
" Community television has often been a term reserved for public access cable stations, which are owned and operated by cooperatives, universities, and non-profit organizations. However, a group of DIY writers, filmmakers, Internet social networking gurus, comedians, actors, musicians and artists have invaded The Firehouse Gallery and are using the power and freedom of the Internet to redefine community television through sketch comedy. The result is First Friday Night Live... "
