Some of you may know by now that I'm writing for a local magazine called Caliente flavAZ. I just interviewed the illustrious Donald about The Shizz and it will be published in the January issue. If you haven't picked one of these up yet, it's an entertainment magazine geared toward the Gay/Lesbian scene and is also bilingual (articles are in English and Spanish). I write mostly about local bands, cd reviews etc. I wanted to make sure we got in a word or two about the Shizz since it's been such a great service for all of us. I don't think any other Gay/Lesbian magazines cover anything like local bands and what folks like The Shizz members might be interested so if you're not freaked out by the whole gay thing you might find it interesting. We cover first fridays and local artists of all sorts. O.K. this post is beginning to sound like a shameless plug so I'll shut up.

You would hope most of us are straight?I would hope that though most of us here are straight, that NO ONE is "freaked out by the whole gay thing." Anyone who is maybe should find another scene.
Let everyone know where we can pick up this publication!
I was hoping cabinboy went the other way so we could "hangout" sometime
Seriously though, I would like to know where this publication is so I can pick one up.
Ezekiel 4:12 (God wants you to eat poop)
Deuteronomy 21:18-21 (Kill your son if he is disrespectful and a drunk)

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.
