we arent really keeping that as our name. They had to change their name from just Death from Above to DFA 1979 becuase of a label called DFA. And they just so happen to be on the same label that the virgins got signed to.

I'm in a band called the Last Virgins of Guadalupe...(we've been on an extended holiday, but there are rumours.....)
and we are sometimes refrerred to, mostlty by ourselves, as 'the Virgins', or 'the Last Virgins'...
we obviously didn't get huge....but we opened for the New Porns, & My Morning Jacket...

Slam Drunk vs. Virgins a house show!
We each trade off playing a 1 minute song.
The band with the most songs gets 3 points.
Each band gets an extra point everytime a crowd member grabs the mic to sing along to a lyric.
Two points everytime the crowd screams louder for one band then the other in between songs.
Bonus points to the drunkest band who can still play well (Tim doesnt count cause he is XXX)
