actually, i really like minder binders. it was always a royal bitch carrying the ole twin reverb up and then down the stairs but i always liked looking up and seeing clowns and what not attached to the ceiling ready to jump down on ya. and oh yeah, it was always kinda fun when the radio station would come through your amp ------. i wonder what will take its place???? i hope they put a starbucks there.I just drove by Minder Binder's. It's closed up with a FOR SALE sign tied to the giant red barrel cart in front. It sucked as a venue, but that's just one less stage.

didn't go, didn't like Hole...but I did like that mean Breeders imitation that Veruca Salt did...
I went there with my Dad in the late 70's, I think....Great building.....
Sad. Maybe they'll open up a combination Gap/Hooters/Starbucks.....

i saw infectious grooves play the outside stage like 10 years ago. met mike muir walking out of his tour bus and asked him "hey, are you mike muir?" he said 'no'. i complimented his band and suicidal tendencies then minded my business.
saw beyond analog and batter the drag there.
i think the only other time i was there i was super drunk. it was like penny drink night or something. anyone remember those??

I loved that band
I played a few shows there, and had to lug equipment up those freakin stairs, damn that was a bitch, last show I saw there was Agent Orange and VinFiz playing outside. I thought that place would never close, it's a bummer it did. I didn't go there very often but I always liked going over there when I did.
Total bummer
Message board?
This is The Shizz.
Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?

It is sad that it's closed. Bostons, Gibsons, Nita's, they were all great venues in Tempe. MB's (not minibosses) wasn't really one of them, but it was a pretty cool place to go to when you went.

Hauling your gear upstairs was a bitch but I thought it was pretty cool playing up there. For some reason it always seemed kind of tricky to get people out to shows there. I thought it was cool that they had the patio and downstairs area, with pretty good food too, if you needed a break from the noise upstairs.I played a few shows there, and had to lug equipment up those freakin stairs, damn that was a bitch, last show I saw there was Agent Orange and VinFiz playing outside. D, that was a fun show.....It was fun playing on that big outdoor stage and Agent Orange was bad ass that night. I'm with you, I rarely went there but I always had a good time when I did.
