as you already knew, miss-jenny, my lovely girlfriend had another surprise for me last night. it was the comedian ralphie may at the improv. unfortunately, we had to wait an additional 40-45 minutes outside before they even let us in. at one point during the show, ralphie told the sound guy "you can go ahead and just leave your little light on. i'm not getting off. these people waited outside for 40 minutes. (to the crowd) just so you know, they've been telling me to get off stage for ohhhh about 30 minutes now." then he proceded for another 45 minutes!!! it was so awesome. fyi, laughing for three hours straight is EXHAUSTING! we were completely drained when we left.

so after giving you all the details you probably didn't need to know, the short of it is we got out of there at 20 til 2am. the staff there was pissed. haha!!

Actually it was quite the fiasco. My guitar was knocked over and the neck splintered right before we were supposed to go on. I had to borrow a bass so we wouldn't have to cancel, and everyone there played a 5 string or more. I played the show with a five string bass which I haven't actively played in over two years. It was crazy. We got good audience feedback, but I wasn't in a good place after the guitar thing.
