a new coffee joint/cafe is open on 7th st. just south of thomas. yummee coffee, great breakfast and fantastic sandwiches.
my favorite is the "joey cristo" which is cinnamon pull-apart bread dipped in egg batter: kind of like french toast, then stuffed with ham and provalone and served like a sandwich......
out of control tasty!

open sunday and monday from 7:30am to 3pm and tuesday through saturday from 7:30am to 10pm

just a short trip up the road for me, will check it out soon. anyone got other good recommendations for coffee downtown? still getting my bearings down here. I know willow house, lux. was in some others before I moved down here, can't even remember which though. I'm close to roosevelt & 12th st, still sorting out my options. thanks! (joey cristo, eh?)

there is also a new one on 7th ave just north of indian school. i don't remember the exact side street it is on, but it is called copper star. it was an old gas station turned coffeehouse.

i don't drink coffee, but word on the street is that it is pretty fresh. fresh. exciting.

i know most know paisley violin, but just to reiterate . . .they have amazingly, out of this world coffee and espresso drinks, one large cup and you are great for the day ;)
