Hola folks... there's tons of bikers up in Flagstaff, but sadly enough, not many cyclocross folks.

I'm in the market for a new(er) bike and have been drooling over cyclocross style bikes. Can anyone hook a brudda up w/ good phx resources, or a place to check out when I'm in town?

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

I go to the Slippery Pig on Central and Camelback. Not only is it 2 seconds from my apartment, it's a great bike shop.

www.drunkcyclist.org or .com, i can't remember which it is. it's actually a flagstaff site for yep, drunk cyclists. lotsa great postings, probably not worksafe as there are loads of porno ads on it. a friend of mine went up to flag a few months ago for a cyclo-cross race, he said there were all kinds of cyclo-cross folk up there...

I don't think you will find any" cyclocross bikes" in any bike shop in phx. That is something you will have to special order, you might as well order it from from your local shop.I think the flag. bike shops are way cooler anyway, plus it's a somewhat cheeper too. I can't wait to ride up there. Flag is one of the best places to ride,it is so fucking hot down here!!!!! Anyway I will be playing at the monte V on sat. 29th. I am bringing my bike so PM me if you want to ride early that day.

I dunno... I've been outta cycling for so long. (used to mtb alot before the integration of shocks)
looks like you can get a "decent" steel cyclocross bike for around $1k-1.5k.
