some guys are lame.
I was talking to someone about strip clubs/tittybars whatever you wanna call em. I said that i felt that men/women who go to these places are abusing male privlege in society and that i feel like these types of places hurt human beings abilities to see other people as other people (it goes both ways - destroying human relationships because the dancers see the men in the club as money and the men in the club see the dancers as sexual objects only).
the guy i was talking with says he had ever right to go the clubs (which he legally does) but then called the women who work there (providing him with his 'right') whores. ?????
don't defend your 'right' to go there and then call the dancers whores!!!!
then he got all mad because he felt like he was being taken advantage financially by going there. and he didn't like it when people pretended to like him. lame-o....
i am wondering who (if anyone) is getting taken advantage of in these situations.


I don't know - something about strip clubs bothers me. I would rather see prostitution legalized so the women were well-cared for and safe, than strip clubs being legal. the dancers aren't unionized and dancing in those stupid shoes causes all sorts of back problems, not to mention the dangers of breast implants...
i also don't know how a bunch of guys can sit around eachother with boners and not seem to mind.
I'm just turned off by people who go there....i don't know.

there is a divas on mcdowell just west of 35th ave as well.

my first experience at the strip club was very much like my experience as a kid in juarez, mexico. except instead of little kids bothering you for money, it's girls in their underwear.

I went to my first, a year ago, in Mexico...my friend, Jason, dragged me there....Yes, dragged...if I wanted to go, on my own, I certainly would've had gone previous to that.

There are lots of reasons a person could be uncomfortable about those places...

I, personally, just prefer to exploit women in the privacy of my own home.

Oh...and woman dancing around in front of me shaking their boobies, to a Whitesnake song, for money, while in a room full of slimeballs, with boners, is fucking gross, and would make me feel really ashamed.

I like to do shameful things in private...with one person I really like (hopefully).....and without the Whitesnake....I prefer a nice instrumental Chet Baker LP.

Oh, yeah....and shaking boobies make me giggle like a motherfucker...

I've actually never been to a titty bar so I guess I am kinda biased on my opinion of them - but my cousin was a dancer for a long time in orlando and was always telling me horrible stories...she ended up developing a really bad drug habit and married the bouncer at one of her clubs....such is life...

i guess they should still be legal (gotta pay those bills ya'll) but I am sticking to my theory that they are gross.

no worries HFE - non of my friends turn me on - i am just saying i am getting more and more relucatant to date a guy that admits he goes to these things "frequently"

i have not been to a strip club since my friend taj and i got beat up by bikers outside the paper dragon. then tackled by the cops, who ended up letting us go becasue they thought being beat up by bikers was punishment enough, which just really makes for a good story about how i got beat up by bikers at a strip club

oh wait i went to one with jeff and arron after we played 2 hours before (fuck you har mar,not quite the super star) trail of dead. if memory serves, i know we were at the old nitas at least
