Before I blab on too much (or just make things confusing), here's the link:

http://www.phoeniximprovfestival.com

This year we have the biggest and best collection of talented groups and performers than we have ever had before. We have groups and performers coming from NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Salt Lake City, and Seattle.

In past years, we've had performers that now write for The Colbert Report and are on 30 Rock (Jack McBrayer aka Kenneth the Page). Plus, I've pretty much seen all of these groups (or performers) at one time or another - the shows are pretty much going to be pretty amazing. There are folks performing that are completely inspiring to me and that will blow you away (pm me if you want any leads).

It's all going on in central/downtown Phoenix at the Viad Center (Palm Lane & Central, just north of McDowell - it's the building that looks like either a cockroach, a skateboard, a cobra, or a building being unzipped. The Dial Corp (the original owners of the building) had actually intended it to look like a bar of soap).

I realize that it overlaps with Bands on Grand (I'm personally sad about that - I worked the door at the Paper Heart and got to see some awesomeness from Sonorous, Minibosses, and AJJ among others), but three out of the four days, it totally doesn't overlap!

Also, if any Shizz folks are interested in checking out all or part of Sunday's Arizona Showcase (it's a marathon-style show with groups from all over the state and a special guest group from Chicago - 3pm-8:30pm, a new group every half-hour), please let me know and pm me - there's a special discount that I can't just blab specifics about on message boards and the like.

Um ... let's see ...

I'll just close with thanking World Class Thugs - they were nice enough to rock out a benefit show for us and it's much appreciated. They're thanked in our programs and on our sponsors page. So, please give them hugs when you see them.

Ooh - also, thanks as always to the TrunkSpace for always having our backs!
