There's a possibility of Dangerville doing a couple of mini-tours this summer (one in early July on the way to SLC - longshot, and one on the way to Austin in late July or mid-August - super-likely).
I was wondering if anyone's ever rented a van for a short-term tour and how that worked out ...
Actually, I just looked at prices and it seems a little ridiculous.
Hmm ...
Still send any thoughts my way, though - I'd appreciate 'em.

we rented a van from enterprise a few years back. not cheap in general, but they were the cheapest option out of all the places we looked at. also, they don't have a mileage fee, which was an issue we ran into with some other places. we rented a minivan (an astro van specifically), which worked since there were just 3 of us. might not be the case for you. i know they rent larger cargo style vans, but they don't have back seats, so we figured that wasn't a good option either.
i looked at most of the "major" renters, as well as some smaller equipment/trailer rental places, and it's pretty expensive. it might be cheaper just to take 2 cars. good luck.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

Yes! Stealing! Now, does anyone have any tips on which rental place is easiest to steal automobiles from? My only notion is to rent a car as Stephonious Willard Higginbottomstein the 4th and then just never take the van back.

Thanks for the Enterprise tip!

I think the biggest vehicle with unlimmited mileage is a mini van. You could get one with a tow package and pull a trailor. I toured in a cargo van, one time. It was the biggest, cheapest option... we threw a couch in and we were off. Don't think they let you young whippersnappers do that sorta thing anymore.
I still don't have a signature.
