Hosted by Cybersonica/Noise Of Art


As part of the London Games Festival Fringe (LGFF), 22nd -26th October 2007 Cybersonica and Noise Of Art will host GAMES:AV - a live concert, screening and a club night featuring musicians, DJs, VJs, audiovisualisers and digital artists whose work has been shaped by Video Games culture.

The proposed line-up, currently in development, should see live performances and DJ VJ sets from: Coldcut, ZX Spectrum Orchestra, The Sancho Plan, Arcángel Constantini, Ben Osborne v Overlap, Vector Lovers, Artificial and labels/projects such as 8bitoperators as well as contributions from grass-root, online Video Game music communities such as OverClocked ReMix, Dwelling of Duels and 8bitcollective, digital artist groups such as Igloo and Fur Group as well as screenings of award winning entries to the Machinima Europe 07 festival and PLAY - a documentary on the thriving Video Games Music (VGM) scene.

There’s an entire generation of established artists and up-and-coming talents who have been inspired and influenced by video games.
Cybersalon is interested to hearing from anyone interested in contributing to this event.
If you are producing similar sounds, performing or playing live acts and want to join us, we organize 3 stages where you can present your work. Please, feel free to send me your tracks or samples of music at kristi@cybersonica.org. If you need some extra space, send me your email address and I will reply with a server link.
