We just heard about four cool bands coming through Phoenix. Problem is that they really don't have the experience or pull in our local market, making it difficult to book them solo on a weekday night. So if any bands in the alternative/indie rock genre are interested in hooking up and making some friends, then check these bands out and let us know if you are interested in playing a show with them..

EL PASO HOT BUTTON from Oklahoma:
<a href="http://myspace.com/e...ce.com/ephb</a>
More post-punk than punk with guitars that remind me of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs
They are looking for Sunday Feb 10th

AutoMatique from L.A.:
<a href="http://www.myspace.c...matiqueband</a>
Recently signed to RCA/SonyBMG. Their songs have cool synth melodic intros that go into some harder guitar hooks and melodic pop vocals.
They are coming through in late April.

CHANCE & THE CHOIR from L.A.:
<a href="http://www.myspace.c....com/chance</a>
Influenced by Radiohead and U2, I hear a little TV ON THE RADIO in their music, just more upbeat.
They have given us several dates from Jan thru March.

AM SYNDICATE from Austin, TX:
<a href="http://www.myspace.c...amsyndicate</a>
Heavy in the shoegaze sub-genre and featuring former members of And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, Knife in the Water, and Black Lines
Looking for first week of February.

I say go ahead and contact these bands yourself and hook-up, talk about trading shows, etc.. Or let us know of any show ideas you have involving these artists.

Email Ross at srossw@msn.com

We would expect you to promote well to help these bands and money priority would go to help them make the next town.

Sincerely, the folks at Hollywood Alley

Seriously, this dude is the bomb.
If you're into modern blues, ala White Stripes or whatnot, good ol' rockin' punk.
Please Someone good play w/ this guy and bring a crowd!

XO,
JRC--TTS
