i've been watching The Office a lot when i can catch it, which makes me think i should get the DVDs and watch them all. Top Chef is over now, so something needs to take its place.
other than that i don't really watch TV very consistently.

The character development of some of the more minor characters on the American version is soooo good. I feel like the British one didn't have time to really blossum.

Made in 1979, it's fascinating to see Albert Brooks' guess for what reality entertainment would someday be. I really enjoyed this, but if you're not an Albert Brooks fan, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. If you are, I would.
Also, I've been revisiting the Simpsons again. Episode of note: Homer's Enemy: The Frank Grimes ("Or Grimey as he liked to be called") story. One of the darkest episodes (for The Simpsons universe at least), yet so very, very good.

Wow, I've watched parts of all three Indiana Jones movies this weekend (was on TV), watched Juno for the first time last week, and of course, my DVD player is always open to Tim & Eric, Tom Goes to the Mayor, UCB, or WonderShowzen.I'm rewatching the original Indiana Jones Trilogy.

I saw The Strangers and The Happening over the weekend. Last night, I somehow made it through The Bucket List. Today, I am going to watch They Live.

one of these days we're totally going to post 'total recall' in this thread, while eating lasagne.

How was The Happening? I am a little intrigued with this movie despite Marky Mark being in it.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

The grey haired judge is totally infatuated with the indian chick, otherwise she would have been booted since she has sucked at pretty much everything.

And Jacki- it was the worst M. Night film I had ever seen. And since I really hated the Village, that's saying a lot...or a little...depending on how you look at it? I mean, there were a couple of decent parts and Marky Mark keeps his right brow cocked throughout, but that's to be expected. They tell you what it is at the beginning and then they don't even extend it past that. It's not characteristic of his previous work. He said in an interview that he expected to get bad reviews because he wanted it to be a really good B-movie. Well, I say that he missed the mark even on a B movie. On Oh No They Didn't, someone had retrieved a copy of his original screenplay and noted that it had been rejected by several production companies before finally being rewritten into a little more Hollywood-esque style. So, long story short...it was ok, at best. Probably not worth the $9.75 to go see it.
