I'm a total noob to what boris do (sorta). I've heard a few tracks but

torche and clouds?

any good?

torche and clouds are awesome! i'm actually about equally stoked to see torche as boris, they both put on amazing sets, don't miss them! if you like like them check out a couple of the members old band, Floor, or Dove, good shit.

Didn't realize there were other shizz folks there.

Show was incredible. Seemed like lots of people got put off by Boris, but i was thoroughly impressed.

their drummer was so very solid and entertaining.

double necked guitar/bass combo is super cool

they did play a long time.

don't hate: we left before they finished.

still not impressed with the clubhouse's pa. sux.

plus, their soundman was still struggling to get stage right guitar in the mix almost a half hour in.

I like how the main lead guitar player hit every guitar squealing note I liked about smashing pumpkins,

but without having to listen to Billy Corgan sing.

Truly impressive.

Oh yeah, torche rocked.

Always liked pretty vocals over heavy music.

yeah Boris played over an hour - which was awesome but i had to go back to the bar and sit down towards the end of their set - i couldn't handle standing that long and it was so hot in there, plus i was so tired from activities of the night before.
But Boris was awesome as well - the drummer was hilarious! they were really good, i just had never seen Torche before and was blown away!

Why would I hate? I get to talk about Boris with shizz peoples.

And yeah, Torche was really fucking good, too. I got to drunkenly stammer "great show, dood" to the bassist as he walked by out front. Hey, he was receptive at least.
