And the others are just people I want to meet IRL.
And don't listen to that admin guy, Mikey. He's a cock.

if this was a "web only" relationship for most people, i bet you would see more jackassery.

Hmm well basically I was at the Brickhouse & Donald introduces me to Aaron and says "we're working on this website for local music" or something. I looked it up & started posting ~~ fun to commiserate with locals who share similar attitudes. Plus I live for Jhealy's and Degreas posts.
I was hanging with Degrae IRL the other night and he called me an idiot savant. And meant it. I didn't really care for that so he kept trying to justify it and ultimately took the idiot part back. True story. We also played that bloodhound gang mammal song about 50 times. I like cheese.

Then I started going to more Shizz events, met a bunch of Shizzies in real life, started letting out-of-state bossies stay at my house, etc. And the rest is history.

It is difficult for me to believe, but I've been visiting this message board daily for more than 5 years now. I actually found out about it because a guy I hung out with in high school who didn't drive kept trying to convince me to take him to see these bands "The Minibosses" and "I Hate You When You're Pregnant." After humoring him and discovering how awesome it was, I started posting on the board.

I think a read about this site in the New times years ago, but have been an infrequent guest for most of the time. This site seems more orginized and motivated compared to other like avenues.

I can count the number of people I've met in real life from here on one hand, but they're batting 1.000 (or however "a thousand" should look - fuck baseball) as far as being cool as all get out, interesting, fun and awesome people. I'll take those numbers all day.
Plus it's a good resource to learn about cool shit going down (bands, movies, activities, etc.).
Plus it kills time at work when it's slow.
So yeah, congrats to you all for being awesome!
