I was thinking about going and checking out that first friday thing. I've never been to one before and it seems like it might be fun? Maybe not, but I figure if I get good and sauced beforehand it'll be fun regardless.

fall and winter months are less sweaty but odds are that if you're tanked prior to arriving, you won't care.

First Friday is fun if you've never been before. worth getting drunk and checking out.

i'mg bbq-ing and swimming tonight. relaxing it to the max.

tomorrow night is the Icehouse Tavern anniversary party. i'm going to that.

then maybe Filmbar for The Palace dance party.

I've heard a few people talk about the film bar. The concept of that seems pretty awesome. It's in central Phoenix right?

i'm just getting to work but i've already got an email letting me know that that dept i interviewed for on tuesday wants to talk to me again. so hopefully that's good news. i think you usually just get a "dear john" type letter if they're not interested. so it'd be cool if they want to offer me the job but i think i'm ready if they want to go a round two interview.

tonight we're hearing up to my family's cabin in pine for the weekend. it's the perseid meteor shower this weekend so that should be pretty awesome (despite the full moon). gonna try and hit up tonto natural bridge because some dicknose ousted me as the mayor just yesterday! >:-/ so maybe that and kicking it in the river or fossil creek. hopefully it's at least 20 degrees cooler.
