I am shaking I am so excited.

I just got a job offer w/ signing bonus. The new job is a 10% bump or more in pay to my current salary and I retain my seniority and everything. I didn't even express my interest in the job yet and they just pulled me in my boss's office to offer it to me on the spot.

each district has an amazingly connected feeling
huge organic local food movement
city planners care about the environment and plan accordingly
great transit
I love the weather
it's gorgeous
you can't pump your own gas


the only thing I don't like - mexican food sucks there so when I'm craving good mexican food I will have to cook it myself, the radio stations are kinda sucky and there are a ton of spiders (I hate spiders but that's a great thing about my cats. They mutilate and destroy bugs like spiders)
