So I walk in and they asks me what kind of taco I want.
I said the kind that doesn't have any dead animal and the asked if the rice was made with any stock and if the beans were made with lard, bones or any form of dead animal added.
They had made a pan of cheese enchiladas just for me and the beans were safe. (I am not vegan, I love cheese.) I just think it's hilarious that I grossed everyone else out that was eating when I said the dead animal thing. Hey in my defense you really have to be specific when you say you don't eat meat. Poeple don't usually count stock and animal fat or bones as meat. If the animal died to make that food in any part I don't want to eat it.
One time one of the managers responded to my dietary choice by asking if I still ate chicken. My answer was, well some say chickens are really stupid but I still don't think that qualifies it as a vegetable. She didn't think that was very funny. I thought it was hilarious. by gones.

from "everything is illuminated"
Jonathan: I'm a vegetarian.
Alex: You're a what?
Jonathan: I don't eat meat.
Alex: How can you not eat meat?
Jonathan: I just don't.
Alex: [to Grandfather, in Russian] He says he does not eat meat.
Grandfather: [to Alex, in Russian] What?
Alex: No meat?
Jonathan: No meat.
Alex: Steak?
Jonathan: No...
Alex: Chickens!
Jonathan: No...
Alex: And what about the sausage?
Jonathan: No, no sausage, no meat!
Alex: [to Grandfather, in Russian] He says he does not eat any meat.
Grandfather: [to Alex, in Russian] Not even sausage?
Alex: [to Grandfather, in Russian] I know!
Grandfather: [to Alex, in Russian] What is wrong with him?
Alex: What is wrong with you?
Jonathan: Nothing, I just don't eat meat!
if you haven't seen the movie, search youtube for the clip (i can't do it here at work). and the movie is pretty cool.

i am also currently thinking that i would still really like to start a 2 bass / drums band at some point. this is probably due to the fact that i am listening to bear claw.
