-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

I liked it but I didn't think it was that great. It felt like pieces of the story was missing.
i kind of liked that aspect. but whatever.

best movie i've seen in a very very long time. now i need to read the book.
and fuck a bunch of making an american version. so stupid.

i thought that was the entire point of the movie... to show how eli has survived for 200 years by creating these friendships throughout life... with people that needed to escape. (bullies, a dad that lets his friend fuck you when you visit)yeah this movie rules. do you think the kid ends up being just like that dude that was taking care of the girl?
