My mom loves games, so I bought her this fun game called "Quiddler". I am going over there and my stepdad and I will be cooking up some beef tenderloin and au gratin potatoes. My younger brother is in Iraq right now and is expected either Saturday or Sunday to get home on leave for 2 weeks. I hope he makes it in time!

We make brunch for my mom and my sister (who is also a mom) and whoever else can make it. This year will be a repeat of Monte Cristo sandwiches, a big hit from a few years back, with mimosas and tiramisu.

I'm a mother's day baby. I was born pretty close or maybe even on the day of, depending on when it fell on my birth year. My mom is good at guilt tripping me into coming home, a five hour drive. She's like, "Well, even if you don't come back, I'll still have a cake here and candles. And we'll still sing to you."

well... I already gave my mom all my extra money since work has been slow for her so I can't buy her anything but I'm going to ask her if she would like me to cook her tasty foodz on Sunday (but she would have to come over to my home since I am anti west side driving). If not then she's getting a "happy mother's day, I love you" call.
